A bit about my background: I’m a graduate of Wilkes University, and most of my nursing career has been dedicated to addiction and mental health. I decided to become a PMHNP because I wanted to make a bigger impact for my patients. In my first year as a PMHNP, I helped launch an MAT program and served as the main provider. Today, my practice focuses on mental health, and I plan to expand addiction services in the future.

This experience has allowed me to work with individuals across the lifespan and with a wide range of needs, from patients seeking help with anxiety, depression, or ADHD to those managing trauma, substance use, or more complex mental health conditions. I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with advanced training in psychiatric mental health. In addition to my direct clinical work, I have served as Chief Nurse Executive for a large behavioral health organization, where I oversaw integrated mental health, addiction treatment, and community-care programs. Working at both the patient and organizational levels has given me a broad perspective on mental health care and reinforced the importance of looking beyond a diagnosis to understand the medical, psychological, social, and environmental factors that can affect a person's well-being.

I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, maternal mental health, and other mental health conditions using evidence-based psychopharmacology tailored to each individual’s needs. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults, providing thoughtful, personalized care—particularly for individuals who have not found success with previous medication trials.

I grew up in rural PA working on my grandfather's potato farm, learning equine therapy benefits starting at age eight. I joined the food industry as a waitress and worked throughout my RN undergrad.

I began my nursing career after earning my BSN from IUP in 2015, stepping directly into the fast‐paced world of behavioral health care within emergency room settings. Those early years shaped my clinical foundation and deepened my commitment to supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. I continued to grow, learning medicine, therapeutic communications skills, de-escalation techniques while working inpatient contracts at various facilities across PA, including child and adolescent units, adult and geriatric units, and correctional facility contracts.

Driven to expand efficient care through impact, I completed my MSN as a Psychiatric‐Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in November 2024. I initially provided inpatient hospital care, gaining valuable experiences in a new psychiatric treatment facility. As my career and family needs evolved, I discovered that remote psychiatric care offered the balance and flexibility that best supported both my professional goals and home life balance. My passion for farms, animals, and my large blended and busy family will help my clients see why I enjoy offering them a decade of behavioral health experience. With my advanced PMHNP training, I will deliver compassionate, accessible mental health support in a comfortable virtual setting.
